We are currently looking for a dedicated, compassionate, and energetic Registered Nurse to join our Centre Care team. Providing you with competitive pay, shift differential pay, and a generous benefits package.
Duties include:
Assessing the number and level of personnel needed to provide quality resident care and adjusting staffing appropriately, keeping accurate documentation of call-offs
Assessing the delivery of nursing care and identifying problems and any need for improvements
Assessing the health status of residents, notifying the physician of changes, assisting personnel as needed
Planning ways to solve problems and to make improvements in the delivery of resident care in collaboration with the DON
Ensuring that all residents have a plan of care
Directing, supervising and participating in implementing planned changes and activities to improve nursing service in collaboration with the DON
Holding self and staff accountable for the delivery of quality nursing care
Promoting harmonious relationships and favorable attitudes among the health care team
Directing and assisting with orientation of new employees
Keeping the DON informed of reportable situations and nursing unit needs
Making compliance rounds to all units on a regular basis throughout the shift
Knowing and following all State and Federal regulations, along with Centre Crest Policy and Procedures
Continuously evaluating resident care by reviewing care plans, assessing residents, reviewing medical records to be in compliance with State and Federal regulations. Report problems to DON and recommend changes
Evaluating the performance of nursing service personnel
Following through with disciplinary action as needed
Performing duties in accordance with Centre Crest Policy and Procedure.
Having the ability to manage stress tolerance, pressure and anxiety

Requirements
Education: High School Diploma or its equivalent is required.
Current license as an RN in the State of Pennsylvania.
Experience: 2 years minimum in a Healthcare setting, preferably Long Term Care.
